For first-time visitors of the castle, we recommend selecting no more than 3-4 exhibitions in one day.
- Important to visit are Interiors (Royal Private Apartments) to see one of the greatest works and monuments of art as well to feel how the kings lived.
- A good choice can be considered to visit the underground castle (“Lost Wawel”). You will see there how the medieval castle looked like on the reconstructions, ruins of old infrastructures and much more.
- The third exhibition good to see for first-time visitors is a combination of the Royal Armoury and Crown Treasury. You can see them easily with a single visit. In this exhibition, you may have a look at magnificent works of art, crown jewels and insignia of royal power so as an enormous collection of weapons and armours.

Wawel Cathedral and Underground Tombs
